Public figure, publicist and human rights activist Oleksandr Aronets said in his Facebook address to the National Investment Council of Ukraine demanding the expulsion of Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem as Chairman of the Board and CEO of the DP World group of companies from the National Investment Council under the President of Ukraine.

"The other day I wrote about an absurd story. On June 15, Rosatom announced the beginning of cooperation with one of the leaders of the port industry in the world - DP World. In 2020, DP World invested funds in the development of the container terminal TIS in Yuzhne. And this company is also an active member of the National Investment Council under the President of Ukraine!" recalls the activist.

He reports that he demanded that the owner of the company be removed from the National Investment Council.

"I sent a letter to the head of the National Investment Council with a demand to expel Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, as Chairman of the Board and CEO of the DP World group of companies, from the Investment Council and transfer this information to the relevant bodies to verify the facts of cooperation of the Arab company with the Russians and consider the possibility of imposing sanctions against the company. It is necessary to react to such egregious cases immediately," says Aronets.

He attached the text of the appeal to his message.
