Aslund: There is a danger of a default in Ukraine therefore the West needs to take bigger financial participation G

In Ukraine there is a big danger of a default, however in case the West provides bigger financial participation, it is possible to avoid it. Such opinion in the comment to the GORDON was expressed by the Swedish economist, the senior research associate of Institute of the international economy of Peterson Anders Aslund.

"There is a big danger of the similar scenario. Soon the West needs to apply more efforts both in political and economic, and in the financial plans. There is a need of bigger financial participation, which was proposed by mr.Soros(the world famous investor and the philanthropist George Soros –  "GORDON" )", – the expert noted.

In his opinion, the statement of Russia of rather early return of $3 billion is not really critical.

"There are legal conditions, and they cannot simply take and tell: "Give us money right now". They have to prove at first that these conditions are really violated. I do not know, what court solves it, but Russia has to be at least legally decent", – Aslund declared.
