The ships of the Black Sea Fleet, located in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas, continue to provide fire support to the Russian army in the coastal direction. This was announced on May 9 by the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Motuzyanyk at a briefing broadcast by the Ukraine Media Center.

"Ships of the Black Sea Fleet in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas continue to carry out the tasks of isolating the combat area, conducting reconnaissance and providing fire support to their troops in the coastal direction," Motuzyanyk said.

According to him, at present there are already seven carriers of sea-based cruise missiles of the Caliber type in the Black Sea.

"Their total volley can be up to 50 missiles," the speaker said.

Motuzyanyk stressed that with these missiles, Russia can launch missile strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine.
