20 production facilities opened in Ukraine due to deportation of people to Russia and Belarus - Venediktova

"We have more than 20 proceedings regarding the forced transfer of persons to Russia, Belarus. Directly in the Criminal Code of Ukraine there is an article on genocide, which clearly states that the forced displacement of children is a part that qualifies the crimes of genocide, so for us this is a promising area of investigation”, – she said.

The Prosecutor General also noted that the investigation is hampered by the fact that there is no access to the territories and deported children.
