"Active protection consists of fire alarms, control of evacuation of people, automatic extinguishing, fire extinguishers and cranes. Passive means significantly reduce the spread of fire: smoke control systems, fire dampers, doors, gates, curtains, lightning protection, fireproof coatings and plasters. The power supply allows the whole complex to work even during "blackouts", the expert notes.
In his opinion, domestic companies' experience in the field of security and their cooperation with leading companies from Germany, Israel, and South Korea allow them to create high-quality products for fire protection of strategic enterprises and other facilities that are constantly under the threat of shelling from the Russian Federation.
In addition, a complete fire protection complex consisting of active and passive components should be considered in projects to restore already damaged facilities and construct new enterprises.
According to Lyubchenko, the state should participate in financing such projects and collaborate with enterprises, specialized companies, the government, and the parliament on a comprehensive fire protection program.
